Here I have for sale my Austin Morris mini city,
first registered in august 1979.
The car has been through a full restoration in the last year, swapping out the old and tired with new shinny and updated parts.
Fixing any problems the car had or could have possibly had in the future; it has a new lease of life ready to turn heads for another long part of its life.
To start the car has had a window out re-spray around 6 months ago at a local spray shop, it is now a brighter custom orange that sets the car off perfectly. The body underneath is also now in perfect condition after the prep work.
It also benefits from the front and rear smoothed valances as seen in the pictures. this modification makes it stand out from crowd and turns heads everywhere I go.
It has also had the engine and sub frame dropped out and all refurbished. The all the parts were cleaned and painted, engine in silver and the rest in satin black. With the powder coated rocker cover this really does have a nice engine bay. The whole bay was stripped and painted too.
While the sub frame was out joints and mounts were all replaced where needed, and some just for peace of mind. These include all the ball joints, knuckle joints, track rod ends, steering rack U-bolts, all the bushes have been replaced with poly bushes, lower and upper arm referb kits, wheel bearings, CV gaiters, lower and upper strut mounts, the shocks were also replaced with a updated set. The breaks have all been worked on to get the best out of them, all four wheels look up so they cant be bad. it has 4 fresh less than 100 mile old falken tyres on the 10x6 minitor wheels.
The floor pan and all the underside has been checked, replacement panels were used to replace and old rusted bits so it is now all solid, with a fresh layer of under seal in all the arches and the whole underneath of the car.
The rear sub frame has been replaced with a galvanised unit (not cheap).
The car also benefits with the stage 1 kit all set up with a straight through. Sounds awesome.
The interior has been all replaced with retrimed seats, a new carpet set, replacement door cars and fixings, retrimed in the back as there are no rear seats but these can be added easily. The dash board is one of my favourite things about the car, you will not find one of these rare autoplas dashes for love nor money. (rare as poor quality wobbly children's play pony poo)
The car has just freshly passed its mot so with tax and insurance is ready to drive away.
