Not sure if this is a bit new for here (it's a LOT too new for me to be comfortable with
) but our new daily is a Pug 206.
Very nice, but it does have a few of the usual 206 problems.
Any suggestions of where I can get parts, or where to look for help would be appreciated
Problems :
Rear axle has shot bearings (ours has ABS + disks) - any ideas where I can get a decent one in the North East ?
Speedo reads either low or nil / revcouter always reads nil (but trip, fuel, water temp all work so it's not the senders)
The engine warning light thats permenantly on
missing spare wheel & the cage it should sit in (but I may have found one in our local scrappies )
For info, it's a '51 plate 5-door Roland Garos 1.4 Petrol that has had very little use in the last year (occasionally started and driven around the block to stop things seizing)
It does have a lot of good points - it was FREE
, has T&T, drives well (even better after a bottle of redex and a 100 mile trip home to blow the cobwebs out), nice metalic green, full-glass roof, lots of toys, etc
