Hi all
I have a Sierra 1.8 CVH that the timing is well out on does anyone know what the timing should be set to to run correctly?

You cant change it, it's run off a CPS and trigger wheel, if the timing is out (how do you know it's out as there's no timming marks?) it's likely to the the cam timming that's out.

Sorted this earlier There are timing marks on the engine, on the cam pulley there is a triangle and if you lift up the plastic backplate behind the pulley there is a white dot. Bottom pulley has a small slot in it and a mark on the block. The bottom pulley was a tad off. Lined them all up to where they should be and she now runs as sweet as a nut so jobs a good un. Thanks for replying.

Glad it's sorted sorry when you said timing i automaticly thought of ign timing (old skool petrol head here from when you could change it )
