And it was a.. MK1 XR2! Couldn't be much better, for me. In fact, if i could go back to 1983 and grab any car of the day to zoom about town checking out how things were, it'd be in my top five choice.

The guys selling it www.facebook.com/david.carter.522 that's his fbook. In the more recent pics he's put up there is a mini estate in the background as well. So may be worth the Mini guys giving him a mail if they want it.  |

Nice find, just a shame scene tax has put most of them out of reach of mere peasants like me, a bit off topic but I have just acquired this and notice the plates aren't far off each other!  |

Now that is a nice find (that Renault is pretty minty too!!!)...
The 'scene tax' associated with Fez's is pushing the prices up and up as the weeks go by!!! If only I'd purchased one a couple of years ago...

Great XR2 barn find.
That Renault 18 reminds me of my first car back in 1988. It was a V plate 1.4TL, in very faded red. Took me everywhere for my first 18 months of cruising about as a young'un. Not a great car, but it = freedom and I still love it now.
