Hi, for sale is my 1995 mk 3 Golf 1.9 Td (AAZ). This is the ultimate in frugal tree hugging motoring..
75bhp, 110 ftlb of torques- ideal for baiting Veyrons/Db9s/Focus ST/Clio 1.2/mobility scooters
Seriously though, this is a cheap and cheerful (if you like dog slow diesels!) way to commute- I've been using it for a 65 mile commute every day..
Drop me a PM if you want more info/to view
Good points:
MOT til Nov 13
Last serviced 3000 miles ago
50mm front drop on lowering springs and Boge Gas Turbo dampers
Runs happily on Veg Oil- I've regularly used up to 40% veg in a tank- means fuel is about 9p per mile!
700+miles to a tank- and a tank is about £65 if using veg:)
Mech Fuel pump- easy to tune and increase fuelling- apparently easy to get 90bhp
4x legal tyres, with 1x 14" bmw bbs
Ideal Rat look material- plenty lacquer peel :notworthy:
Bad Points:
Radiator Leaking (£40 for new one, or £5 on some rad weld)
Exhaust backbox could do with a hanger
Drivers side Driveshaft clunks on occasion
Interior could do with a clean
