I do find the fussy hood ornament pinstriped bonnet/ boot & wood completely over the top, if the exhaust tip & pontoon covered wheels weren't already enough.
So it does make me appreciate some of DecoRides other idea artwork more, if not a gently patina'd example, or two tone with madly curvacious chrome jewellery details & bumpers to balance the Exhausts, or.. It's such an inspirational & extreme body that could be directed in so many wonderful ways.
Not sure what the Studebaker & Foose components are yet either.

The same car de-fendered ?, works much better with such fussy details!

I can't help thinking this would look a great deal better in a different colour. The wood doesn't show up against the red. Black or a very dark colour would work. The dash needs a bit more effort too... some nice veneer with a glossy finish at least! It's a great idea but the execution falls a tiny bit short IMO. On the upside, I love the exhausts, though I think all that chrome out back would be matched better by a chrome grill shell on the front.
