I have only ever used the forum on RR........... until now when I just read the "Thinking different: A sketch to stimulate ideas" on the features page. It was on about looking outside "the scene" and trying different styles on different car or mixing styles up, and it got me thinking....... What car for "you" has broken the mold and opened you eyes to a new way of doing things? Some examples IMO.......... Rat-look nova Clear booted bug Rat rod fiesta Pimpin volvo (don't get me wrong I love a good rat look VW, but how phat would a VIP look XJS be or a Boso style Granada)

know the guy who used to own that Volvo, sadly it got totalled by a transit van... It had air suspension on it, and people couldnt believe what they were seeing, as Joe public thinks no-one ever modifys volvos... It certainly opened my eyes! That Nova and Fiesta look good! I love it when people use something out of the ordinary, take Slaters Metro for example, Its AWESOME!

It was so good until i spotted that.
As for modding stuff, anyone ever seen a modded people carrier?

breakin' the mould...
I'd say Jimmy Shine's pickup Troy Trepanier's '32 roadster (the green one) That track style Toyota Corrona (Penski reposted it up a day or so back) Chicayne (thats two Trepanier cars in my list then) Andy Forst's Victor Slater's Metro! That frikkin million dollar 'Cuda. Big Red (the mad road race gen 1 Camaro) Anything Andy Saunders built or even thought of building That yellow Viper engine Cuda convert, I think that was the car that launched a thousand clones

Rat rod fiesta I love that car, if it didn't have such a gay bonnet on it it would be even better! I never get why chavs do that to their cars, just makes them look stoopid imo (even more so than usual) Modified Volvos, sure Mynheer anyone? omg! I would be embarrased to own that! can you imagine the looks people must give when getting out in a car park etc? What about MOT time?
