Fiat Bravo 2.0 20v HGT. This has the 5 cylinder lump borrowed from the Coupe and is the later version with the increase in power to 155bhp. The most fun car I have owned in years but time to move to something bigger.
MOT - 29th November 2013
Tax - 30th June 2013
The car has only covered 1300 miles since its last test and in the last 1000 miles has had the following bits done:
New NSF washer jet
New rear exhaust
New MAF sensor
New thermostat
New rear washer motor
Full service inc new air filter the spark plugs.
The parts alone for the above come to over £600
The mileage of 83k is genuine and backed up by all its old MOTs and it drives like a car less than half its age - it's really tight, responsive and goes like the wind and sounds great. I have both the blue and red key and all the service/owner's manual etc and the aircon blows fairly cold too. I have disconnected the central locking as the alarm was playing up a bit, but it's a 2 min job to reinstate it.
This is a totally original and well looked after hot hatch - very rare too, particularly in Metallic Lichen Green - I have just done an Ebay & Autotrader search and there's not another for sale in the UK.
She's not perfect, but in fine condition. The door handles are perished as with all of these but still work A1; the paint is great but has had a minor touch up on the driver's door to a scratch (very minor) and the alloys would benefit from touching up.
A really nice little car that belies its years. I bought it to scratch the itch of wanting one to play with, but now it's time to part with her. The new owner won't be disappointed and I will be sorry to see her driven away.
There's also about £50 of fuel in her...... Dog in boot not included
