Like everybody, I like to ‘play’ with ebay. Of course, in amongst the odd bargain I have got burnt and it’s time to take it on the chin and move a couple of bits on...
6.5Jx15 Kosei Manary Euro Edition, five-spoke alloy wheels
ET38, 108 PCD (believe Ford/Peugeot... you tell me?)
5HX114.3
5HX100
Actually, I took on a punt on these and they’re much better than I thought. Yay, I beat the ‘bay! The condition is better than any used alloy wheel (other than those refurbed) I have ever seen, including the minty Audi Treser rims I recently sold for nearly 400 quid. Just a few minimal marks. Includes all centres too.
Would like £70 for these.
Alpine 7521RM face-off cassette head unit and CHM S620 six-disc changer.
Bah, my pants are still around my ankles from this one... Described as in ‘working order’, I’m not entirely convinced! It powers up but can’t remember if sound came out as the ISO plugs aren’t in the best condition. Power went to the CD changer (includes the lead and mounting brackets) but couldn’t get the magazine out. There’s no cage and it has wear to two of the front radio preset six-buttons at the very least.
That said, it’s presentable enough and would clean up quite nice. Owes me £20. Anyone wants it for £10 then they’re welcome to come and get it. Otherwise, I’ll probably tidy it up and keep it. That or banish it to the corner of the garage entitled ‘embarrassing ebay purchases’.
Pioneer DEH-524R
Basic CD player. Works but CD operation is a bit clunky. No cage but I bought a new loom to try it out and it works. £7
Matchbox and Corgi trucks
So I bought a job lot of Matchbox and Corgi toy cars/trucks off ebay. I was going to pay the mortgage off by splitting them up or alternatively let my children pick the ones they wanted. Can’t remember the outcome, although Nationwide are still drilling me on the standing order and despite having a sea of expensive Lego/tablet/Wii etc, my six-year-old likes the experience of pushing a playworn Corgi 240D Merc taxi around instead...
Going to put these on ebay tonight, but here they are in case anyone wants them:
