So after much deliberation and deep thought (and the fact i've seen something else for daily duties ) i think i will be parting with the s12, the main thread on it is here:
More has happened since then that is not currently documented!

Theres more on the above thread I'll get some more/ better ones up tomorrow once i have refitted all of the trim and given it a clean etc!
All the rust has been cut out new bits made and welded in, filled, primed and satin blacked, the other engine is in and running well, it will be going for MOT within the next few days.
Overall the cars in pretty good shape, there are dents/creases/cracks in pretty much every panel but the rust issues (mainly caused by the lovely original mudflaps) are all sorted all other areas are nice and original with no signs of any moisture ingress or blowing of seams, the welding i have done has removed the only patch this car has ever had. On the passengers side most of the repair work is covered by the mudflaps apart from a section of sill and rear edge of front arch, drivers side would ideally need the whole rear quarter painting. I removed the rear spoiler as its a notorious rust trap, welded up the holes and gave it a coat of primer and satin black ready to have a fibreglass replica spoiler fitted (not sourced yet!!)
Spec wise it's got some pretty expensive options, Factory headlight wash wipes, factory passenger foot rest, sunroof, roof rack(!!??!!) Everything works as it should, the radio has been removed and there is a iso convertor fitted so an aftermarket item can be slotted straight in (or refit the original)
Mechanically the engine has been checked over, new timing belt, comprehensive service, new 3pc clutch kit, gearbox and diff oil is new. The brakes were overhauled by a previous owner so it has new discs and pads all round, good tyres. It will be sold with a fresh MOT but no tax.
So having read through all that whats it worth?
