Hi all sorry if this has been covered but.... Is there any ideas on a brake upgrade using modern off the shelf parts that would improve a vauxhall magnum or for that matter viva firenza etc Preferably off a heavy barge type car and still available at beeakers and motor factors

don't the discs bolt on to the back of the hub like the cortina ? if so your options are going to be limited unless you choose a modern disc over hub type set up and make new caliper mounts

Renault 21 discs are 265mm, vented and are a similar offset, the centre bore is the same as the vauxhall so they self locate, but they need to be redrilled to suit, discs are under £13 at eurospares, Calipers I have yet to work out, I have just acquired a pair of MGTF trophy calipers which look like they might do the job

Atmo V8 Power . No slicks , No gas + No bits missing . Doing it in style. Austin A35van, very different------- but still doing it in style, going to be a funmoble

This might be useless to you, but I know the chevette donated its front suspension to the pontiac fiero, so maybe there's some crossover on parts?

I used renault discs on mine with redrilled volvo 4 pots.. but if u have magnum ie 10 inch discs then u can use ford cortina and capri calipers.. ie p19 or m16 calipers.. using m16s on mine on std discs.. theyuse metric bolts tho so either redrill and tap to m12 or slieve the orig bolts.. Remember if ford stuff fits then princess calipers will do too as will willwood upgrades. Pug coupe brembo 4 pots too.. just need toget the relevent size disc to go with them verious sizes of renault 21 gtx etc maybe turbo?.. Si
