This is to continue a discussion on a f/s thread but I thought it better to talk over here than on someone else's effort to move on a car for it's "correct" value.
My frustration came with the barrage of people poopooing the phrase, citing examples of hugely different values offered against a car or the classic, I'm only prepared to pay £2k for a new beemer!
Do people not understand that the value and the sale price are not the same thing and that the value it driven by market conditions where the "someone" from the aforementioned phrase is in fact the weight of buyers, not a specific someone who is buying a car independent of external factors.
Have some cars subject to inflated values (due to inflated sale prices) due to a keen interest in the particular model.
And some cheaper ones:
Disclaimer: Meant to be a positive thread about comparable cars with varying values!
