I may end up with a vehicle that has a surplus-to-requirements 350 (5.7) small block Chevy motor in it, mid 80s vintage. What's a good running one realistically worth, complete with standard carb and all ancillaries - basically ready to run?
Don't know if it's 2 or 4 bolt mains which would influence the price a bit I guess...
Any ideas folks?

Probably up to £500 if it's a good running complete one and definitely a 350 not a 305. Unlikely to be a 4 bolt at that age, probably a low compression, low performance, flat tappet cam one if it's got a carb; Corvette motors would be injected and Camaros didn't get 350s til 87ish (and again fuel injected)

Cheers, that's about what I'd figured.
Turns out it doesn't matter as I didn't get the car it was in anyway!
