Bought this last week from a friend who was stuck for cash. It is very clean, well looked after & despite the 118K mileage it starts, runs & sounds lovely. Service stamps up to 94K, recent exhaust, 4 good tyres, 2 rears like new, cd player, free wheeling hubs, good soft top, full mot, 1.6 petrol, manual, tax until end of May. My girlfriend has hinted that I keep it for the summer but I can't see me using it much as I prefer my van.      Car is in Redditch, Worcs not far from M42/M40/M5 Graham 07795417046 |

Hi
Is there any indication in the service history of a cambelt? And how many previous owners do you know?

Hello Si, I would guess it's had at least 1 belt. Will check the book tomorrow & let you know. I had the cover off yesterday out of curiosity & the existing belt looks okay. I am waiting for the V5 to come back in my name but I know the last 2 owners. Not much help sorry but I get the feeling it has been well looked after.

Service book only shows small or full services. There is reference to an invoice number at 72K miles but no receipt. I have all 10 previous mot certificates.

Bump for Price drop & to say car failed mot on rear brake pipes & a hose last week. I have replaced offending items & will be taking it for re test asap. Also I have removed the tow bar as the plugs sockets were corroded & there was no hitch fitted.
Summer is coming. Imagine driving this with the roof down & wind in your hair.. . or hairs if you're really lucky!
