mates got a couple transits. actually really nice rides.
now don't know about reliability etc but I like the look of them lol so what about the Hyundai H100 or mitsubishi L300. pretty sure you'd get a couple bikes in them.

I love how threads like this get to stay open while one I started about rear window stickers got closed in minutes due to "cool old car content fail"

I am going to purchase a van, and while its slightly off topic for retro cars, I know there would be a lot of people on here with knowledge to help me make a decision on which one to go for. Its a very usefull thread for myself and anyone else looking for help buying a van.

Topic recovery I have this which would probably take two bikes (maybe?) And I'm posting this just coz I like it:-) I used to have an ex-Royal Mail LDV Pilot. 1.9D was slow but economical. Have seen some '03 plate ones pretty cheap but the engineering is pretty retro. My school until last month ran a Convoy minibus petrol with factory LPG. It was reasonably nippy when empty and no too expensive when run on LPG.

Big Alan, it might be possible to squeeze two bikes in that, but I need something with more room, then I can take 2 lots of leathers, helmets, all my tools. At the moment I am racing street bikes, but I plan to build a proper lengthened drag bike, would need something a little bigger.

Would your stuff fit in a Kangoo? No it needs to be at least the size of a standard transit

Surprised nobody has suggested an older sprinter, they're a great old van don't seem to rust too badly and the engines just seem to go on - well the ones i've driven did

I got one of my motorbikes mot'd yesterday and got talking to the lads at the garage, its 95% cars and vans they work on. They both said they mot a Citroen Relay every years and it doesn't rot and its bulletproof. I started looking at those and found one an hour away and ended up putting a deposit on it. Many thanks to all those who took the time to reply and help with advice.
