I've put an enquiry on Shiply.com for moving a car. Gopt a quote I'd like to go with. However, I've never used shiply before.
The car isn't in our name yet, so how can I talk to the company offering the quote about signing the papaerwork. In fact, how do I contact the company at all?
All help appreciated.

I've used shiply a couple of times, don't get shipping co involved in paper work, get current owner to sign V5 and leave it in glove box or give them the details to fill in and squiggle in the new owner bit (i've done this a couple of times with no issues), then make sure they leave the green slip in the car incase it doesnt go through (you can then claim you didn't receive it and get a replacement for free - never needed to myself)
To contact the complany just reply to their message/quote on shiply.

i used it today and although the service from shipleys was ok the knobhead who picked the car up was rude to the parents of the person i bought the car from. he turned up hours too early for pick up and rang at 5am when pickup was supposed to be 11.00am... but got the car here in one piece and the rates were reasonable(£148 for 130 or so miles) plus shipleys charge of £25 good idea if a none runner and theres a distance and do the same as damien said re. paper work
