Isn't fire the thing that isn't restorable though? I rememebr hearing that the WRC boys will straighten anything (due to the amount of work/time put into shells) that's been rolled/ flipped/ smashed, unless it's been in a fire? Or will they just chop out the fire-affected parts in weld in new bits on something liek this? Hopefully i am wrong, adn it gets rebuilt. For sure one of the coolest cars ever!

"Restored" is a bit of a misnomer with the really old or really high end stuff. There will often be absolutely nothing of it left that is original by the time it is completed.

Is obstructing emergency services through stupidity (rather than intention) a bookable offence? If it isn't it really should be, and if it is, it needs to be enforced more strictly. The amount of idiots I see not wanting to bump their posh new car up a curb to get out of the way of an ambulance/fire engine makes me very angry sometimes, as well as the people just not paying attention or doing a really bad job of getting out of the way. Well this might make you happy. My mate's a paramedic, and they often take off someone's mirror if they're being particularly stupid and in the way. The people they hit are often really apologetic and never complain
