I'm a great fan of putting modern engines in old cars, that looks oddly at home there and the rest of the car looks really well too.
Not such a great fan of modern diesels but that's gotta be a bit more entertaining..

i have seen this car in the metal, it is a fantastic build, credit to all those involved! pics really don't do it justice, though the diesel note coming from under the bonnet as it pulls up the drive makes you look twice at first!!

yea at first when i heard he was doing that to a mk2 cortina, i very much had my doubts. when i saw it in the flesh, it converted me. theres some SERIOUS work gone into that car, if you could, get hold of the before and mid work pics that pete has (and carries around with him at all times as far as I'm aware hahaha) because they show the ammount of graft that went into it. its not like it was a mint car before and theyve thrown a bmw engine in it, its like a resto job combined with a bmw transplant.
alot of credits gotta go to his mate gaz who put in the hours with the welder making sure the thing didnt tear itself a new bmw shaped hole when he first setof in a hurry!
