VJM1 is Awesome!!!!
I love the way it is such a brute yet nice and comfortable with a well appointed cabin to appease the missus!

To be honest I was a bit underwhelmed when I went to M-B World. Yes, I'm glad they bought into Brooklands, and yes, their money means the banking can still exist, however the rest of their little branding exercise left me cold.
It's an incredible PR achievement - even the local buses in and out of the complex bear the three pointed star - but the manner of their staff didn't impress me. I realise I wasn't suited and booted and everyone else seemed to be. Getting the brush off when telling them a collegue's C-Class had been left with its lights on rankled a bit.
I went to the desk, gave them the registration number and got told brusquely : "Well, our cars don't do that. The parking lights go out after 30 seconds."
Me: "Well, there's something up with it then, the sidelights were on when I went into the car park and went round Brooklands and were still on when I came up here an hour later. Someone's gonna have a flat battery. Is it not at least worth someone going round to have a look? If the battery dies on that thing it's going to be a world of pain to sort out [the horrors of an under-bench W201 job at Halfords still pains me to this day]."
Her [insistent]: "No. Our cars don't do that."
Me: "Fine, I was only trying to help. Someone's going to be bloody walking home at this rate."
I spent another 20 minutes in the complex, aghast at the price of the experience days and getting photos of the admittedly impressive exhibits. I somehow failed to get a decent shot of the black 300SL Gullwing they had on display.
The C-Class still had its lights on when I headed back to my car. As I left an utterly knackered W126 on Duchalets pulled into the gravel lot and the driver fell asleep. I think I enjoyed that more than the entire M-B World experience.
Sorry. Nice pics though, thanks for sharing.

The C-Class still had its lights on when I headed back to my car. But their car's don't do that It's amazing how much people will deny something because it's 'not possible' for something as simple as that, wouldn't have harmed them to say "thanks we'll try and let them know" but at least you tried to be helpful. Looks nice there though, might have to visit sometime over summer. Great how they have such an age range of cars on display, but it'll be beaten till next year when a new M-B comes out lol
