And so it begins again
After selling my old Eunos 2 1/2 years ago, I've always quite fancied getting another one.
And decided that now was the time to do it (well, middle of Feb, what could be better than buying a convertible ).
So the hunt was on and soon got offered this one,
a tidy white one, on steels and a hardtop. Was slightly over my budget, so the hardtop will be up for sale, but it ticked all the right boxes.
So, sale agreed it was put in for a fresh MOT (passed easily) and yesterday I did battle with public transport for 3 hrs to get myself to Rochester. Quick test drive round the block, all felt good so moneys handed over and pointed it westbound for the trip home.
Shortly though and all was not feeling good, above 60 and it was all over the place so I bailed into the nearest services (needed petrol anyway) and checked the tyres. 42PSI all round Dropped them down to 26 and set off again, this time feeling much more planted. Although the rear shocks are pretty worn so it does have a bouncy ride at the mo, but other than that nothing more to worry me
So this morning it was out with the bucket and sponge to give it a quick scrub
Plans at the mo are sorting the suspension (once the hardtops sold it'll help fund a set of cheap coilies) and prob refitting the stock airbox instead of the K&N and then doing some tidying on the bodywork when it warms up some
