I know that there are a few AW11 fans and owners on here. I wonder if anyone would be good enough to measure the front indicator/sidelight assembly for me? I'm after the width and height of the light unit - although, as they are quite deeply recessed the aperture size would be fine. Many thanks. ;D P.s. No rush at all.

Mk1 MR2 is AW11 I can also measure the Delica front sidelight/indicator tomorrow for you - it's similar to the MR2 one, but I also happen to have a spare or two (I think?) tucked away in the unit. If they work out to be the right size, and I do actually have a pair, they're yours. ;D

Mk1 MR2 is AW11 I googled it and everything - but it turns out that "W10" is general for the Mk1 MR2, while AW11 is more specifically for the cars with the 1.6L 'A' engine. So we're both right. After six Mk1's over nearly 20 years, I never knew they did anything other than the 4AGE (or the 4AGZE variant) in them? Based on your comment, I've just looked it up and low & behold....they did a 1.5 3AU version. Every day is a school day! Although, judging by the single domestic market for that model, and the comment about it not selling at all well (no surprise there!) I'm not completely shocked that I always thought it just came with the 4AGE powerplant? I do think you'll find 99.9% of people will refer to them as an AW11 - in all these years I don't think I've ever heard it called a W10. Anyway, if I find the light units tomorrow, I'll leave them out for you.

But Google is the all seeing eye, the all knowing power. Why would you even consider listening to me? (Amanda certainly doesn't ;D)

This forum REALLY badly needs a 'like' button.
I seem to own the only '80s VW that doesn't have lights that could be useful to you.
