Hallow, I have a Peugeot with a battery teminal like this... It keeps working its way loose causing the engine fault light to come on and the car not functioning the nect time you try and start! Before I have a squeeze with the plyers... does anyone know if you can tighten these or whether you can replace them? Thanks

Some days you just need to take a grinder to an inanimate object, just to make your day a tiny bit better!!

I did have a bit of bother with these on the other halfs 206 GTI. The garage fitted a battery that was not quite as tall as the original, so the plastic box round the battery would push on the connector and eventually cause it to come off. Correct battery fitted - no problem.

Correct battery fitted - no problem. That's exactly what this is doing! I'm either going to space the battery up or trim the box a little as it's going to be a bit late to change the connector when the car comes back.
