Right, fully aware this is not going to be the most active topic, however I thought anyone could help me on here.
As some of you may be aware I have a pair of DCOE40's waiting to go on my car.
I'm at the last stage of buying all the last bits and bobs before taking the plunge and making the manifold and fitting them.
I have got to the point where I have looked at the jets currently fitted, at present I have;
Main jets; 100
Idle jet; F11 / 50
Air corrector 140
Pump jet 35
Compare that with the recommended setup for a standard 2.0/1.8/1.6 pinto;
34mm Chokes
135 main jets
F11 emulsions
190 air correctors
35 pump jets
40/f9 idle jets,45/f9 for 1800/2000
4.5 aux vents
Now I'm struggling to find out what size venturi's are fitted (chokes).
I have taken one of the chokes out, and the only identification I can find is the number 45. However I didnt think 45mm chokes were available for DCOE40's nor 45's.
So what I am after is advice on what jets to fit to the 1.6 mx5 engine, and how i can identify what size chokes I currently have.
Cheers in advance.
