OK, say I had a nice car but with a pale grey leather interior.... I don't like grey leather. I've seen plenty of things advertised over the years which claim to do redying of leather (not "paints") but want something that's current, good quality, will last...
I don't mind paying someone to do it if thats the best way and the price is right.
I was thinking of black or blood red.

If a replacement interior is cheap enough I would go down that avenue, and sell your existing interior .

One word of caution when re colouring leather seats, not all seats are 100% leather, very often the "skirts", piping and seat backs are synthetic, which makes dying them a right pain in the Butt, needing 2 different types of dye, The dye you have highlighted dosent say its for changing colour, sounds more like its for restoring back to stock,

The dye you have highlighted dosent say its for changing colour, sounds more like its for restoring back to stock, Fair point on checking whats leather and whats not. That stuff is used to colour change as well, check their gallery with the red to cream and the cream to tan used on vehicle interiors I guess the issue with using 2 dyes is that getting a match will be hard and the possibility of the two materials showing different shades be quite high.

I used this stuff years ago with good results, I don't know if the same stuff is available as I used as it was never sold as a paint, but a dye, www.kolorbond.co.uk/vinylkote.html

I was under the impression you couldn't get that any more! A mate did a pair of Rover P6 front seat head rests with that years ago and it was top stuff.
