genuine polo gt coupe.
no mot or tax
alpine white sunroof model (sunroof works fine)
140k on the clock
good points
engine is a runner and the gearbox works fine
brakes work
bodywork generally very good, although front arch lips have been ground back
it is a genuine polo gt, not a conversion
gt steering wheel
gt clocks
black door cards in very good condition
needs very little work to get it back on the road
Bad points
no seats or carpet included
heater panel broken
front grill missing
centre console missing
trim above radiator missing
gutter trims missing as I gave them to a mate for his car
possible other bits of trim may be missing (i've tried to list everything i can remember)
battery tray has been fibre glassed at some point and need repair imo
front of drivers side sill is a bit deformed (still mot passable, but could use some attention in the next couple of years)
no exhaust or wheels (not giving away a set of split rims and a s/steel exhaust on a £350 car! especially as they were bought for my g40 anyway)
very much a project. I bought it with the intention of using it as a bit of a weekend toy. had planned to run it with next to no interior, so wasn't bothered about the original interior being manky. (i removed it as it had got damp, pressumably due to the battery tray)
The car will obviously need some tlc before it goes back on the road, i.e. check the brakes over, fluid levels, basic service etc.. It has been dry stored since dec 09 and run every 3 or 4 months for half an hour or so, just to stop it seizing up.
I will not break. price is not open to negotiation
YOU WILL NEED A TRAILER AND WHEELS WITH TYRES ON TO COLLECT THIS CAR!
collection from chipping norton, oxon
£350 no offers, it is a very fair price for the parts it has on it (I will point out that I would prefer to sell to some-one who will put the car back into use, rather than break for spares, but hey, once you hand the money over, you can do what ever you like with it!)
