What a lovely day for a ride out! Met up with Baz in the car park when I arrived and he was still out there when I left (dunno about his story of actually having been inside though.....) and I'm sure I recognised some faces in the crowd... As usual the car park was heaving with top spots and here are a few...... And the stuff from indoors.... Spent a pleasant morning at the auction with S.L (disappointed not to meet Wuvvum, but I did briefly meet "Marinanut" from Retro-Rides, when coincidentally, he parked next to me) looking around, and generally talking wibblepoo....Here are my pics of the lots that caught my eye.... R16 Auto was a welcome sight in French-tat starved Norfolk....It was o.k, but not brilliant....I personally wouldn't have been happy paying the guide price of £800-£1000 for it :? The star of the show for me....Guide price IIRC was £400-£700 for this 740 hearse....It wasn't perfect by any means, but IMO was worth more than that....I made sure I left before they started auctioning the vehicles to avoid temptation! Rally Crab looked the part 8) Carlton Estate looked the part, but had been resprayed in the past, and would need more work to get it tip-top....Would make a good everyday hack for someone that way inclined....At the right price of course! W107 SL isn't as nice as it looks This SAAB 96 historic rally car has been modified to look like the earlier "Sport" but is in fact, later than that (given away by the rims)....Belongs to S.L's boss 8) Two-wheeled wibblepoo in the shape of a Suzuki GSX250....One of my childhood favourites! A couple of German barges outside....Both potentially available for peanuts....Both S.L and Myself agreed that the Merc was VERY tempting....Only showing 122,000 miles too....Or could that be 1,122,000? That's it from the auction....The car park was another matter! I was like a dog with two dicks as I wandered around, not knowing where to point my camera next! Have decided that I'll put the car park stuff into my spotting thread, to try and ensure that the pics don't disappear into oblivion....I get posting as soon as I can!

Yep belongs to another ABS member - it's a nice one and well cared for..... he has done a huge amount of work getting parts for the LC/LO's re-manufactured He also has a mint Carlton GSi 24v (apparently up for sale soon) one of those modern V8 Rover 75's An MG B And some other stuff no doubt Oh and his son is responsible for that K series head on a mini engine!!!!

this is the vehicle I wanted to take home, I loved it BIG time!! failing that I would of settled for this beauty........ Didn't notice either of those in the car park, but I did.... ....Spot the Chevy pick-up in Asda car park on Saturday! ;D The black beast (which incidentally looks from it's exhaust, as though it'd make a HELLUVA NOISE!) lives in Costessey....I often skulk past with my camera hoping to get a shot, but there's always another car in the way!
