	I'm looking for some advice I have a 91 mk3 xr2i with absolutely no rust. The question I have is the best way to rustproof it. I've been told dinotrol is the best stuff. I have the following issues: 1) only a driveway to work on. 2) no compressor. 3) the rear arches are mint and I don't want to paint them I cleaned them back to the original paint and want it to look natural. 4) the other issue is the current weather. I am looking for advice on how to treat the boot , wings , doors , bonnet , sills arches and the underside. I am getting some quotes to get it done professionally as these cars rust for fun but am looking and what's involved. Any help is appreciated I'm trying to gather some knowledge

	buy spray can waxoil or similer and spray loads behind the rear doorcards (remove em 1st) and get round the full cap and round the inner arch joins, soak the inner arches so it covers the bodykit bolts and rear sills , to do underneath put the car high on blocks/stands etc , put a big sheet down and use any decent spray underseal to go over the chassis rails , inner sills , the resr shock towers inside seal the arch lip and bolt holes for the kit too , i think you can get hand pump kits to spray inner sills/arches etc,.

	Dinitrol products I use: DIN3125ML for cavity DIN4941 for under body. both can be bought in aerosol form. Buy on ebay from their shop rather than from their own site - postage is cheaper. Very easy to use, very effective. Waxoyl - if you want to use this mix it 50/50 with clean cheap 20W/50 engine oil and get it hot before spraying - you can use their hand pressure spray kit which works well enough so long as the mix is right and it's hot enough. But having used both the Dinitrol will work much better. On the underside I spray everywhere with the cavity wax first, then a coat of the underbody over that. Gives an excellent finish that stays slightly waxy, creeps into seams much better than Waxoyl and doesn't wash off either.
