Bit of an ambiguous title I suspect. Many of you will know Myrtle from this board. Does anyone know or have an idea what the current market for Ford 100E Anglia's is like?? I am talking unwelded, original, under 40k miles type cars. What value would the plate have.... I am considering "plate raping" her, as the plate is worth a lot, yet worthless when selling a car like this. And I would rather see the plate on the missus' Smart car or whatever. Would it sell, and to which type of buyer in what market ? Front Rear Outside Inside Engine area. Boot floor. Parked up, garaged and SORN'd since pretty much August 2010 Any advice and guidance will be greatly appreciated. We are trying to create a 40's or early 50's pickup sized hole in the garage, so the '63 Ford Transit bus and Anglia need to move on. Thanks.

I reckon ebay would be the best bet, they're getting rare in that sort of condition.
100e was just a shell designation for the 3 door models. Anglia was the early model (53-59 - revised slightly in 57?). Yours is the early spec one with the small rear window. The shell then morphed into the Popular 100e which ran until 1962, with a much lower spec.

That looks really nice, It would be a shame to see it plate raped as it will drop the value of the car and it lose some of it's history a charm IMHO, Values, well I would expect to be talking about £2-2.5k, maybe even more as it really is a little hunny.
I'd give you £1000 for it!

Is the bus going as well? Yep, bus has to go as well. We want a single car that we can spend time together in..... This would be the dream, but I guess we will end up with a "rough as a Badgers assss" truck with original paint and engine etc..... This would be the dream though. Getting there via.....

Iwould imagine £3000 in a private auction ebay has lots of messers and non payers .Imho i would leave the plate on as its not worth that much and would spoil the sale of the vehicle

Love the pair of them, have a hankering for a 100e after seeing the one in classic ford this month.
Also been on the look out for a VW bus for a while but much prefer that, how much are you looking at for it?
