IMHO if you need to push the track out further towards the bottom of the wheel, then it's not really camber in the true sense. But interesting look none the less

Looks curse word, but then so do all camber cars. Looking good isn't the main objective.
Punto is one of my favourite cars of ever funnily, just because somebody had that idea and followed it through. Pretty sure it used to run without wipers or mirrors though.

girls draped over modified Ladas There's something rather unsettling about this one. (And, er, this one.)

I subscribe to this russian blog thingy that has been posting loads of these lately - the girls and the cars are far worse than those ones! It's quite the sociological commentary. Also check out this dashboard!

the first (second?) incarnation has a whiff of volvo p1800, a dose of early nascar and a sprinkle of mad max - love it, especially the 2 door conversion. camber thing I don't get, probably for the same reasons as nige and EmDee

senseless mods imho So what are sensible mods then? Who's not done something to theyr car that wasn't 100% logical? I think it's awesome! And look where it was converted - many would struggle with this even in a heated workshop with every tool imaginable I also don't "get" the camber thing, mind. But turning the car into a coupé - hell yeah!!

In the context of vehicles it is relative to the longitudinal centerline of the vehicle.

Camber is merely a geometrical measurement, how it is achieved is irrelevant. In the context of vehicles it is relative to the longitudinal centerline of the vehicle. Yes, but whether pushing the bottom of the wheel out or pulling the top in, the result is the same: an increase in (negative) camber [and therefore technically a decrease- I'll get my coat...]

But turning the car into a coupé - hell yeah!! Agreed. The whole camber thing ain't my cup 'o tea; but I love how they turned it into a chopped-top coupe! Too cool. Kinda reminds me of that early 80s Volvo coupe- 262C IIRC. If I were building it, I'd keep the stock wheelwells and bumpers, and slam it over stock-sized whitewalls, steelies and hubcaps Brian
