Hi Guys,
After a cheap estate to use as my daily. If its petrol it needs to be under a 1.6 litre, if its a diesel it needs to be under 2litre.
Ideally after something like a cordoba 1.9 diesel or astra 1.7 diesel.
Age does not matter just needs to be reliable.
Thanks in advance.
Tom

Ive got an ASTRA 1.7 DTI estate 2001 51plate, complete car, Taxed, moted, (Tax is like £125 a year I think Insurance is a group 4 really cheap. Alloys, will need one tyre and a slow punture fixed. Cambelt done, new rear brakes. Selling as It became hard to start, (burned out starter motor), replaced the starter motor and car was still pain in , Found that if I earthed the engine it was fine 20miles later it broke down again. went and bought another one as didnt want to raplace part after part finding issue. Then investigated and found ecu was cause of all problems. This has now been replaced. I'm a just waiting on my mate to reset ecu so we can comfirm everything is 100%. will double check the mot and tax expiry. It owes me £1011. stop starts and drives spot on The wiper park is out of sink, needs contacts cleaned key remotes work intermitantly (worn fobs). usaul slight rust to rear wheel arch got an advisory for oil leak leak on last mot. would be happy to re-mot will get advisories for tyre and oil leak. I reckon its worth £825 all day long, part worn tyre and puncture repair = £25 and a couple of hours you will have a sorted cheap to run motor. Selling this one rather than the replacement as that has a rpm read error which make it hick up 100 yards from cold start and then feels slightly under powered. Have no Idea what the fault is.

Thanks Mike but I won't be able to insure that and the MPG is a little low.
Is there anything else out there?
