I'm goin to be getting some alleycat alloys off my brother in law but there 4x108 pcd but I'm after 4x100 pcd to fit my mx5 hubs on my reliant kitten, so I was wondering if anyone has had any experiance with a decent company that re-drills alloy wheels don't want some back street company as I want them spot on. if not il be selling them and will buy some wheels that are already the rite pcd thanks

would it not make more sense to use 4x108 hubs instead of the mx5 ones? sounds like the car will be pretty custom anyway?

it already has mx5 running gear all so would really like to keep it the same.
for the sake of the wheels id rather sell them and wait till some others i like turn up unless i can get them re-drilled

it all depends are these wheels really worth it? number 1 , the pcd face- is it flat and same thickness all around, or does it countour in (or out) where the holes are for moe meat around the nut/stud hole if that makes sense? if so then you cant redrill these. if its all flat surface around the holes and on the back hub mounting flange then you can effectively re drill to 4x100 and tig up the 4x108 holes, but again you got to find someone who is willing to do this as many wont and people who do charge a premium-sometimes. hope thats made sense and would help if you put a picture up of the wheel and back of the wheels too

To a certain degree, steel inserts can be used. Don't know if 8mm resp. 4mm are possible, though...

i got a set of chevy/jag cobra slot mags redrilled to fit onto my 5x112 mercedes. but being slot mags there was loads of metal to drill into and no recesses on the back of the wheel to worry about. £40 for 4 wheels bargain!!!! the guy is a little back street engineering shop and had been doing it for ever made me some 4x100 to 4x114.3 adapters years ago too. PM for his details he's in smethwick near birningham
