hella projector advise please low beam high beam

hi guys i am building a set of headlights at the moment
and i have a pair of hella AZ91HP projectors
that came out of the hella e36 angel eye headlights in the low beams

question is if i remove the cut off shields inside
can i then use theese as high beam projectors

so efectively both low and high beams will have the same projectors but the high beams will have the cut off shields removed
