Well seeing as there's been an influx in Mk4's lately, figure I best show mine. Ignore the camera dates, and also the green mk4, that's no longer with us as it was stolen and never seen again
Previously owned by a painter/decorator the car was used as a works van before being parked up when he finally got a van. So after some haggling it came home looking like this
The interior was untidy to say the least, so a raid of the spares pile pulled out a brand new rear bench and door card
.
Then it was time for a service and refresh, so a trip to ford and all new gen items(except HT leads) where sourced, as well as a bottle of cillit bang, the engine went from shabby to chic
.
Once that was sorted, it was tome to check out the underside. For being 23yrs old the underside is mint, a quick wipe over with petrol ac hived this. Poverty spec escorts where never painted underneath, the paint is over spray from the side
A few more goodies where pulled out, including a pair of ultra rare Euro spec spots and a OEM motorcraft service sticker
And we get to today, final pics before she's put into hibernation
and attention gets turned to yet another mk4, this time a truley rare 3door diesel pop.
