hi guys I'm fitting some lesjofors springs to my saab
and I'm after some advise if youve fitted some to any car in the past
fronts went fine
but on the rear springs the top coil of the lesjofors spring is a slightly larger diameter than the origional saab top coil
and beetween the spring and car body theres a rubber bush that wraps around the top coil with a circular bit on the car to centralise things
and the rubber part moves around inside the top spring coil
and when fitted it moves sideways at the top maybe almost 1cm
i contacted them they confirmed there definately the right springs for my car and said theyve had no reports of anyone having any problems after fitting them
the saab has rear trailing arms for the rear springs not mcferson or double wishbones
just wondering if you guys had fitted them to any car and found same sort of issues and fitted them and thay were fine etc
otherwise i may make up some polyurethane bush type affair to hold it in place maybe
thanks dave
