Hey All,
I'm coverting my cortina to coilovers so I have a better choice of spring rates and can adjust the ride height, the fronts gone well but Ive hit an issue on the rear.
The plan is to remove the springs on the trailing arms and run coilover units where the dampers were by reinforcing the damper top mounts. Ive read that people have done it before by seam welding the mounts to the body but I don't know if they are gonna be strong enough, the metals only 1.5 mm thick!
What does everyone think??!! Will the mounts be strong enough!?
Cheers, Chris
