I didn't get much of a response to my last thread asking about generic tuning, so I thought I would be a little more specific.
I have a 1043cc mk2 polo currently running the later type of pierburg 1b3 carb. The car is soon to be running a gt cam (when I can find one), skimmed, ported and polished head and 1.3 facelift exhaust and manifold.
Just wondering will a weber 32/34 dtml from a 1.3 be too big for this application? Obviously it will need the jets changing but will it be massivley over fueling in the lower revs? and will the hot 1043 be able to generate enough air speed to fully utilise the main jet?
Opinions please Thanks
