Hello,
I have done a search on here and have an standard pugeot 1999 1.1 Look 2 Its had new plugs etc about 6 months ago. I recently fitted a new backbox which was standard and it might be blowing slightly from the join but doubt it could affect the readings as much as they are. I replaced the Lambda but not the cat so far, so I do know the cat is the next thing to test but when I took it back today for them to check the emissions again before I went ahead with the re test that the HC was fluctuating erratically in the high 600ppm, but what he said to me was strange and I doubt he was trying to get work out of me bearing in mind where I work (ex military vehicle dealers) that it could be engine management problems, the EML light isn't on but every now and then when pulling away it seems to have no power but has got better since new lambda sensor fitted...
Has anybody got any ideas or thoughts??
Can I see if there are any issues in the ecu memory as I cant access is with OBD reader?
Do I just throw an new cat at it??
