Ladies and Gents,
Please take time to admire my friend Jamies Audi 80 because Jamies not an RR'er as such but hes coming around to our unique blend of interesting tat.
Anyway, he's advertised it on Pistoffheadz but I think it deserves an airing on these hallowed pages, although to be fair I've tried to cut the springs many times and he won't let me, so maybe it doesn't?
Anyway these look awesome down low and he doesn't want much for this one. It's got loads of MOT but is a little lacking in the tax department (runs out at the end of the month). I've had the pleasure of its boaty ride on many occasions and it never fails to arrive at the intended destination but is showing it's splendid 178,000 miles in places (like the peely bonnet and a little oil smoke on cold pull aways).
I'm sure the price is open to negotiation and although he's never swapped cars before he does like a ratty old shed (see exhibit below) so might just be open to something.
Please admire the squareness (and forgive wheel trim with missing badge) here:
(Tartan bedspread from this one is not included):
And allow me to copy / paste a few words from Jamie via Pistoffheadz here:
1994 AUDI 80 Avant (Estate) 2.0E (£450)
This is my Audi 80 Avant. I've had the car for 6 months, but she's been in my family for a decade so there's a large history file including a stamped service-book for the first 8 years of her life. I got her from my dad at the beginning of the year when I needed to move the contents of an apartment from Switzerland to the UK, and since then I've done nearly 6000mi. She's not perfect, but she's a good workhorse. I'm now getting a company car so she needs to find a new home.
Good points :
MOT until 25th May 2013
Big estate load-space (with tonneau cover)
Electric sunroof
Decent interior (in lovely beige), never been smoked in
Floaty ride - you'll never feel the rough British roads
Surprisingly capable handling, with some entertaining charactersitics
Big history file
4 name-brand tyres (although 3 different brands)
VAG 2.0E engines run forever
Galvanized body, so it'll never rust
A collection of boating-themed window stickers on the RR quaterlight windows
Retro appeal
Not-so-good points :
Tax runs out at the end of September
Fuel gauge temperamental - best to work off 310-330mi/tank on the trip
Tailgate gas stays don't have any gas-pressure, so have to prop the boot open
Rattly exhaust (heatshield and/or baffles)
Glovebox needs a little persuasion to stay closed
Bonnet lacquer is peeling in a few places
Retro features - manual windows and cassette deck stereo
Burns a bit of oil
She's been a good reliable car for my family, and I hope she finds a good home. Any questions just ask. She can be viewed evenings and weekends in Olney near Newport Pagnell off Junction 14 of the M1.
Lastly call him on: O7853319O51
Or if you like call me and I'll try sell you one of my cars instead:

There are more pictures on his official advert that he was robbed a tenner for but I CBA to link them all so click here if you really want to: classifieds.pistonheads.com/classifieds/details?l4=744756
