	The steel fuel lines that run over the top of the gearbox on my Alfa 75 are rotten. I have made up copper replacement but am not happy as there is alot for them to rub against etc and the rubber sections they mate to are past their best too. So can I just replace the whole lot with braided fuel line? The only reason I question is Alfa seem to deem fit to have a solid steel fuel line here rather than rubber, and I'm not sure why.

	I'd do them in Copper-Nickel (Kunifer) and wrap them in hose at potential wear points.

	Can anyone point me in the direction of the little rubber hose that the factory put over the copper pipes?

	what we do, is just use whatever is to hand, slit down length ways with a sharp knife, pushed over the pipe, then cable tied every couple of inches, never even knew there was a specific hose for the job
