Hi, I'm putting a 2.0l Zetec Blacktop into a 1971 MGB GT and need a shorter oil filter. The original filter is approx. 125mm long. I bought a shorter one (approx. 79mm long) but I could do with a shorter one than that to save having to remove the engine each time I do an oil change.
Does anyone know where I can get one from that will fit a 2.0l Blacktop that is shorter than 79mm?
Thanks, Alex

Hi, try a filter for a Renault 5 from the 70s. Because they are set back into the bulkhead they restricted for room and are about 50mm long if I remember and the same 3/4" thread

If the car is going to be used often I would be tempted with the remote filter option .
