I'm sure some of you (me included) might not be willing to sacrifice your arches for the new look (especially on what looked to be a nice stock-bodied example), but you've got to admit it's given it a whole new look! I hadn't even noticed the arch "detail" until you pointed it out. I was too much in awe of it's bad ass stance and appearance!

Potentially scary scrubline issues aside. Rmad, I think someone's hacked your a/c. ;D At least everyone's not humming a certain Sinitta song now... Shame those Datsuns are virtually extinct over here now, cracking little trucks. They would look quite good bedecked like one of those Macho Power Wagons, all jacked up with knobblys. There used to be a press car along these lines in the UK in the '80s.

That's a cool little truck. I hate the wheels in the later pics but the black detailing is just right!

Don't know if I've ever looked at one of these before but I love the way that body crease at the top of the door flows into the pick up bed.

I prefer it on the hubcaps a lot.
Funny from the first picture stance looks perfect but from the second I'd raise the rear slightly. Might ease some scrub concerns to do so anyway.
Badass. Simple. Right.
the blacked out and big wheel version just looks "meh" to me.

haha I posted this in NRNR yesterday and I had no idea that you had actually started a whole thread about it! Beat me by 4 hours too!
I love both guises but frankly now that I've seen the before pics i do think it's a bit of a shame about those lovely arches getting ruined. It looked great on the hubcaps too. OMG what's happening to me I'm getting old or something.
