Hi All
As some of you may know I am currently converting my 205 gti in to dervy awesome but I am having some clearance issues.
The brake master cylinder literally touches the cambelt cover when the engine is mounted. I need to find a way of this not happening. I want to know if anyone has ever "trimmed" a master cylinder to give more clearance of if there any ways of relocating it without spending a fortune. I may be able to remove the servos and put a triangle shaped spacer behind it to angle the master cylinder upwards and solve my clearance issues.
I will be putting a solid mount in the lower engine mount to try and stop the engine moving forward and back so much but it will stil "rock".
Please remember that the deadline is the gathering so time is an issue also I'm no millionaire.
Alex
