Does anyone know anywhere that can enlarge the centre bore on some 13x7 capri pepper pots to 65.1mm in the west mids area. I have tried several local engineering firms with little luck so far. Thanks

What's it to go onto? Have you tried opening them up with a die grinder? Although that'll depend on how deep you need it boring too? What is the bore at the moment?

The centre bore as standard is 63.5 I think so there is not alot in it, there is also quite a large chamfer, so they are very close to fitting as is. in fact they do fit on with a 5 mm spacer. I would rather have them done properly to a reasonable tolerance as I think they would be more saleable and they could be put back to standard so to speak with some cheap spigot rings. I could do that for you. I'm in Daventry/Rugby if that's any use to ya? I might take you up on that if the leads I have closer to home don't pan out in the next few days (I'm between telford and wolverhampton). What would be the cost per wheel approx (I have 5) |

About a fiver a wheel should cover it. It'll need to be bare wheels tho, no tyres, else I can't get them in the lathe

It'll need to be bare wheels tho, no tyres, else I can't get them in the lathe Sounds good, here are a few pics  with a 65.1mm internal diameter spigot ring for comparison  There is a little ridge on the front face to the centre hole that retains the centre cap, which may cause trouble mounting on a lathe??  |
