Went out to the car last night, to drive into work (I'm on nights this week), only to find that some @sshole's aerosol'd the PT with white paint (the car's black, so it stands out a mile). The thing is I parked it up at about 6.30am, so it's highly likely that it's been done in broad daylight. I live on a main road as well! I'll be making inquiries, and if I find out who's done it, they better start praying that the Police get to them before I do! Anyone know if T-cut will get it off?

Foooooookers! unbelievable I'm of the learning through hurting school too - fair warning on the pack mentality of these ar*eholes though unfortunately. Will it t-cut - they only blasted as they passed? Or is it a re-paint? Sh*tzzzzzzzzzz

That's bad news! I still don't understand why people have so little respect these days. I'm voting no to the vigilante argument though...

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Scumbags. I regularly see vans covered in tags and grafitti, can't believe they have the cheek to do it to someones car.

Thing is 'graffiti' is semi accepted if its quality, especially if its on a canvas or a permission granted, or out of the way derelict wall etc. A crappy scribble on a new car or wall or fence is not acceptable, apart from illegal vandalism, its curse word and they should be ashamed of them selves, learn to paint or write propperly (no shortage of college courses/ general SCHOOLs) or get a job ffs!

I would use a mild rubbing compound rather than T-cut, this has worked well for getting medium to heavy aerosol off a car of mine in the past.
You can get the stuff from Halfords or most accessory shop.s

vig-ill-aunty route is a bit dodgy, where will it end Problem with CCTV etc.... as all the shopping places will testify, the hoodies they usually wear! Must admit here they don't tag cars - the odd van's been done but only after left standing ages so they thought it was abandoned ( they look it! ) I found the petrol cap to my Triumph next to the car t'other day - flap open - door lock messed with..... god knows what's in the tank now!!! Flush this weekend - 50euros of fuel knackered (or not but gone anyway!)

never had a problem wiping aerosols off with cellulose thinners, just make sure to re-lacquer.
unfortunately kicking their heads in means retribution, leaving it be means probably wont re-occur. still, smashing their heads off the wet paint if you catch them at it is acceptable. carry cable ties and give the 999 a tip-off!

That sux . Some turd scrawled something on my Benz in permanent marker (when it was white). A quick wipe with T-cut and a bit of turtle wax and it was gone. I'd think spraypaint would take a bit more elbow-grease but should come off. Like SS said, just remember to wax afterwards. I tend to find it easier to just shrug my shoulders and get rid of the damage as fast as possible, rather than roaming the streets with a machete getting angry. The piece of sh*t that did it probably can't even remember doing it

As it's fairly fresh, use nail varnish remover and then finish with a gentle rub of Farecla G3 on a damp cloth. If you have a highly polished finish, follow up with some Brasso.

Find the culprit, wear protective gloves and scrub off the damage with his testicles using lots of thinners! Scum like that really make my p!$$ boil!
