Spent some time trying to remember more of the contenders I'd previously lined up, so here's a few more. Datsun Fairlady  Saab Sonett. I think these are also used on the earlier Saab 96 estate, but I'm not 100% sure on that.  Saab 96 estate ![]() www.speer-fuchs.de/saab.jpg![]() Alfa Romeo Mito (this wasn't a contender at the time, it hadn't been released, but if I go that route again it would be now).  Nissan Figaro  1958 Plymouth Fury  1958 Ford Thunderbird  Worth noting that there's a lot of 1958 year American cars with superb round tail lights. Daimler Dart  Triplex 10/20 Glassback  Ogle Design Aston Martin Sotheby Special. This is a big car, so it only works on a big car or with scaled down lights, but it's still awesome.    |

how have these not been mentioned?! model A ford. the original round taillight-   '50 pontiac. one of the two most used custom tailights. in their natural environment-  and where most end up, the slam panel of an A coupe/roadster-  the other being '59 caddy thats already up there, but heres my take on it-  |
