Bassically as the title says!
Its a 1987 diahatsu hijet, its a 1.0 efi, you turn the key and all you can hear is a relay clicking, nothing powers up or anything. No lights etc.
Managed to find the clicking relay and its in a pair, am i right in thinking these relays power the fuel injection ecu and everything?
I'm pretty sure its the relay (havent got any spare to swap over) but just wondered if its possibly something else causing the problem?
The positive terminal was pretty naff and there is 2 smaller wires running to the battery too which had broken off, i have stripped these wires back and have connected them to a decent battery but still nothing. So pretty sure the problem isnt a uncharged battery as i tried 2 different batterys.
Any ideas?
