Just got my self a lovely set of alloys, with some not so lovely curb marks on them. Bad times!
Here's my question,
After sand blasting what's the best way to get the Curb marks out bear in mind I will be wanting to get the wheels powdercoated after NOT paint!!
The curbing is not hugely deep and there is no dents or cracks
Any advice/ ideas will be great

I sanded mine with an orbital sander. Looked ok after I had finished. You could do it this way or you can fill and rub down before coating. The other way is to get then machined.

Flap wheel on an angle grinder is the easiest way, then a quick going over with some 240 grit to smooth down. Takes about 10 mins per rim max.

Oh and do any of the de kerbing before you get them blasted so it leaves a uniform finish across the wheel.

How have yo got the patients to do that?? It took me an age to strip and refurb my last set, I have some (modernish) Audi RS6 alloys and I wanted them black chrome but do you think you could strip and polish them?? If so how much do you charge :-)

Hi mate, I don't refurb wheels professionally, I'm just an amateur polisher!
It takes about fifteen minutes per wheel if you use the Ratta discs like I did.
If you're anywhere near Gloucestershire, let me know and Ill show you how easy it is.

I have an angle grinder a flapwheel and a set of Ratta discs. That's it!
If you have a ton of patience you can hand polish them like Mystery Machine did with his Centrelines.
I like the lazy metheod though ;-)
