Ok guys, got a question some of the Alfa fans might be able to answer. Considering fitting a 2litre twinspark in a project car, but rather than get an adaptor plate made up to fit the 5 speed type 9 box, I'd like to use an Alfa box, then get the prop made to suit. So I need a RWD box that fits directly to the back of the engine. A mate suggested one from the RWD Spider, but I'm wondering whether it will fit on the back of the twin spark? All ideas and help gratefully received!!!

Which twinspark? Out of a 75? This may fit to the spider gear box! The later twinspark lumps all have a exagerated sump so modding this would be difficult for RWD use! Get onto an american alfa site they do all sorts of wacky stuff in the states with 'em!!
PS I have a 2L TS 75 engine and the propshaft housing still on it! I also know a man who might have the spider gearbox!!! I could check for you!? You'll also need a flywheel and clutch!

PPC did an article on putting a TS into a 105/115 series Giulia some years ago. I'll see if I can find it tonight to see what they used.
I recall there were issues that meant a FWD TS wouldn't work but I can't remember why.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like as much aggro as getting an adaptor plate made for a type 9..... Looks like I might have to have a rethink.....
