Hello Mark yes i had seen the clips on ebay but was not sure on the shape of them as they fit the dome type vw caps, i held one of the hubcaps in place and it's got to happen, they look just so right ;D
so has anyone done this to there wheels ?

you can do it with 3 well-placed bolts drilled. tapped and screwed into the wheel face, that replicate the job of 'pip-pins' on early wheels. hard to explain though, and i cant find the pics of ones ive done in the past.

you can also use tigerseal! - seriously, my mate's hubcaps are held onto his wheels in this way, never lost one yet - only issue is he has to keep a stanley blade in the truck incase he has a puncture!

Almost on the road: b11 sunny breadvan, e36 tds, 325i skidcar,
nearly there: ford f250 tathauler, suzuki alto, u11 bluey
not for a while: ford pop, 32 rails,
not in this lifetime: ruby, '29 hillman

this is how they look with a little blue tac but don't think it will hold them to well, dez if you can find any pictures that would be very useful, "how do you find the time to reply with all your projects" ? kfw i have got windscreen bond but don't want to have to put a knife near the paint work as it took me ages to get them so nice, and these hubcaps are not to a penny, was very lucky to find them so want them to stay, cheers

The one method I know of is what Dez suggested. 3 Bolts, measuring them and finally placing them onto the rim.
