I only had chance to take one pic today :-[weathers been curse word again.......its getting beyond a joke now anyway lol.i bought some secondhand 40mm springs dan, then cut another coil off both sets,I'm not one for cutting coils but seen as it's hard to get 60mm springs for sierra's these days it was the quickest option.........they wount be on too long though due to me wanting coilovers for it. I need to be careful though at min because the vw g40 van taking a back seat and I realy want to get that done before I realy crack on with the sierra anyway here's the pic I took today they're 16" mondeo alloys with 205/45/16 tyres

That looks chuffing awesome! So you recon its gone down about 60mm?Just I'm going to get some made up hopefully for my estate, and was thinking of 50/60 mm. Also, with the dark grey bottom half, that'll make it look even better.Like the GLSi's in fact, they were two tone.Nice work.

Looks like a really clean example! Loving the plans for it, the Rover V8 will make this a proper lively car. On the coilover front I used to have Gaz coilovers on my old gold/nato green Sierra GLSi absolutely fantastic ride quality, handling and lows I'd highly recommend them. I think you'll struggle to find non-cosworth coilovers, but ones for the cosworth models only requiring slight modification to fit. Give me a shout if you want me to go into detail

Sod it may as well explain not really that complicated. Yes 2wd Cosworth coilovers are the ones you'll need the fronts are a direct fit (4wd struts are much larger diameter), the rears bolt to the strut tops no problem the bottom is where you'll need to mess around a little. The bottom shock mount is m10 on non-Cosworth models you'll need to drill the hole to m12, also the Cosworth mount is smaller width so you'll need to pack out the difference with washers iirc it's 5mm each side. Or you could fit a Cosworth rear beam. Job, jobbed!
